This TAMA Woodworks poplar snare drum is built to a full 14" diameter and 6.5" depth to take advantage of the sonic qualities of the 8-ply poplar wood shell, which brings a full-bodied and warm tone combined with medium attack. The outer shell is covered with an art grain wrap, and the drum is equipped with matte black hardware, including triple-flange hoops, throw-off and a single row of bridge lugs. This drum's striking looks and distinctive warm poplar tone will endear it to drummers in a wide range of genres, live gigs and studio settings.
