The mic offers a wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and its omnidirectional pickup pattern is ideal for capturing clear and consistent speech, even when the subject is turning his or her head and moving around on stage. Its micro-miniature capsule is designed to handle sound pressure levels up to 120 dB.

The DE10x sports an IP65 rating, meaning it's resistant to both dust and moisture, allowing it stand up to sweat and still perform both in the gym and under the hot lights of stage and studio. Built to work with a wide variety of wireless systems, the microphone includes 4 detachable adapter cables with the following connectors: 3.5mm, Hirose 4-pin, Swithcraft TA3F, and Switchcraft TA4F. Also included are four windscreens, a collar clip, and a carry case.
